Advent Calendar 2025 – Day 9

For this new day of the calendar, I wanted to gather everything that, for me, truly represents the spirit of Christmas.

First, there’s the decorated mailbox, overflowing with parcels and letters. It perfectly captures this time of year when everyone prepares surprises and shares a little magic through the post.

And then there are the window decorations, my real favourite. They’re those little stickers you place on the glass: snowflakes, ribbons, tiny festive patterns… There are so many kinds, and you can put them absolutely everywhere. It’s the detail that, in my opinion, changes everything in a home. A true final touch that brings the whole atmosphere together. I could never live without them.

And to finish, greeting cards. Simple, traditional, sometimes very colourful… They bring that familiar warmth that always comes with the holidays. Every year, I start early and make my own Christmas cards to send to my loved ones. It’s become one of my most important traditions. For me, it’s truly part of the Christmas spirit.
